Brief History

brief history picture The LCCM-VCDM Library has been an integral part of the institution since it was founded in 1902. Most of the collections that time were materials dealing with religious subjects such as novenas, prayer books and other materials that were indispensable in education. With the introduction of new school programs other books were added in the collections. In 1974, the College library was transferred to the Sta. Monica College Building from the main building of the school. At present, the library is named after Atty. Violeta Calvo-Drilon, LCCM's outstanding alumna. It is situated at the 2nd floor of the Kamalayan Building occupying a floor plan of 906 square meters to accommodate the growing collections of the library.
