4 LCCM Grads Pass the May 2010 CPA Exams

Four graduates of the Accountancy Program have successfully hurdled the May 2010 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy.

Valerie Cruz Alborque (BSA 2009), Jewelyn Sentinar Casimiro (BSA 2005), Cirissa Cu Crisostomo (BSA 2009), and Acmila Mamintal Hamed (BSA 2008) joined the list of the passers who will take their oath on July 2.

In a press statement released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), only 1,886 out of 4,772 examinees or 39% passed the examination. The overall passing rate of La Consolacion College Manila is 57% which is above the national passing percentage.

Sr. Imelda A. Mora, OSA, congratulated the board passers through the BSA Program Coordinator Prof. Rico G. Penamante, a day after the results were released. LCCM will fete the graduates during the Testimonial Dinner on June 18 which coincides with the Orientation Program designed for the Accountancy freshmen, undergraduates, and their parents.
